First time we have used some bird netting. What a monumental effort. Wrong size so stitched 2 x 5m x 100m together with fishing line, in the rain. Exhausted. And of course only covered half the expected roadside row. Now wondering about when we need to take it in....

Getting them off wasn't too bad, remembering to take them off before the mechanical harvester started in the adjacent block was a bit last minute though. They were draped on the ground and would have been damaged by the harvester turning.
It is certainly a lot of work. We helped friends put netting out one year on their vines near Murrumbateman. How did you go getting them off?
